NRZ had a little problem getting to sleep last night.
He attributed it to the roti prata we had for dinner but I argued that we had it on many occasions before and did not encounter this sympton then, so the "culprit" should be something else!
Perhaps the "Old Chang Kee" curry puff we had? Yesterday, NRZ saw OCK's advertisement on the papers about its curry puffs going at a promotional price of $1.00 instead of its usual $1.30 as part of some award it won. He suggested we should all eat one after our dinner.
Turned out that we bought only 3 because both me and Edison did not want to eat so much after iur dinner and we shared one puff between the two of us while NRZ and Fleming ate one each.
After that, we also drank a McCafe Chocolate Banana Frappe each.
So the cause could be anyone these three? ;)
Anyway, on the way to sending Edison to school this morning, we were discussing the various forms of the word "insomnia".
Actually, insomnia only has two forms: insomnia itself and insomniac. What complicates things is that 'insomniac' can be used as a noun or an adjective.
NRZ became a little confused as he was listening to me explain these subtle variations while driving at the same time! Explaining to someone the complex rules of the English language while a person is trying to manuevere his way through the mad morning traffic is one of the most inappropriate times! ;)
